I work for Slalom, a business and technology consulting firm, with a local model that does not require unwanted travel and allows our consultants to work in the city they live. As the community engagement lead, my focus is on partnerships with organizations in our Chicago community, using skills based volunteering to tackle their biggest business problems as well as providing non-skills based volunteering opportunities within the org programs. I'm interested in hearing how other companies increase engagement of their employees, the type of programs they support and what tools are used to communicate and measure this.
